Kidnap Plot Promotes Elite 70
26/04/2006

To promote sales of Spectus' easy-to-fabricate Elite 70 system and to mark
10 years in business, The Trade Plastics Centre (TPC), Stroud recently staged
a charity open day at its Cheltenham store.

Part of the event involved
a speed trial demonstrating
how quick Elite 70 is to
glaze, an event organised
in conjunction with Spectus
fabricator Indigo Products
Ltd. However, the real
headline grabber was the
staged kidnap of customer
17 year-old Ashley Kirby
of C&R Decorators,
Cheltenham.

Held 'against his will' by
two stunning local models,

Ashley's release was negotiated by his boss live on local radio station, Star FM.
The £50 ransom payment was donated to the Meningitis Trust along with £200 raised
by the open day.

Says Richard Phelps of TPC: "The open day was a fantastic way of marking our 10th
year in business and also getting customers along to look at the Elite 70 system."

Spectus' Elite 70 is available in bevelled and ovolo versions complimented
by a range of finishes and accessories making it one of the most versatile systems
currently available.
