SPECTUS BRING PRODUCTIVITY BENEFITS TO A&B
14/09/2006

Since A&B moved completely over to Spectus' Elite 70 earlier this year production
efficiency has greatly improved. This has brought a raft of benefits to both A&B
and their customers.

According to Dave Barrett, Managing Director of A&B Glass, the improvement is the
result of a number of factors intrinsic to the Elite 70 system. "The better and more
consistent product quality means that we have less downtime and wastage during
fabrication. Elite 70 is such a solid system it is easy to achieve a quality finish."

(Since it began manufacturing Spectus' Elite 70 A&B Glass has seen productivity efficiency increase.)

Dave continues, "We now fabricate both the bevelled and the ovolo versions
of Elite 70. This simplifies fabrication as well as reducing stock holding.
And, of course the co-extruded bubble gaskets make a real difference to fabrication
times. Less wastage, fewer interruptions and shortened production times allows
us to run a very tight ship. As a result we are can offer superior quality windows
and guarantee on time deliveries".

Dave Mulholland, Sales & Marketing Director of Spectus adds: "Elite 70 was
developed to provide exactly these benefits in terms of fabrication.
Obviously, we knew that we had a great product but it is fantastic to hear
big customers such as A&B giving Elite 70 such a ringing endorsement."
