Express Delivery for Holiday Inn ! (Spectus Classic 62)
07/03/2005

Meeting the requirements of different clients is all in a days work for Stargaze
Windows Ltd of Stockport. The company have recently completed the installation
of over 100 windows in a new Express by Holiday Inn in Leicester.
Located next to the Walker Stadium, the new home of Leicester City Football Club,
the Hotel was built by main contractor Multibuiild.

Stargaze used Spectus
Classic 62 profile to
manufacture the
windows specified.

The frames were required
to be grey to meet local
planning requirements
and to provide continuity
with other new buildings
in the locality. The profile
was spray-printed grey by
Colourcode of Rochdale
in a process that comes
with ten-year guarantee.

A "tilt and turn" style window was used, which, for safety reasons, was fitted with
special hardware to ensure the windows 'tilt only' under normal circumstances.
However, they can be set to "turn" by hotel employees to allow both the inside
and outside panes to be cleaned from inside the room.

Keith Farrell of Stargaze comments, "this is the type of project that keeps you on
your toes ! The requirement for grey frames and for 'tilt but not turn' was unusual,
but not anything that caused us problems. It simply meant putting our thinking caps
on and making a few 'phone calls.

"We believe our ability to provide effective solutions makes us easy to do business
with, and the more solutions we come up with the better the service we can provide."
