    Coastal Open Day
22/06/2005

Tuesday 14th June saw Spectus trade fabricator Coastal open their doors
to customers. An open day was held at the company's factory in Poole to
demonstrate the wide range of products and services they can supply.

The day was fully supported by
Coastal's suppliers. They include
Spectus Window Systems who
supply the profile used to
manufacture Coastal's Salisbury
window, Exeter door and the
"Vale" Vertical Sliding Window.

"The day was a great success,"
said Jeremy Beling,
Coastal's Managing Director.
"Many customers turned up to
view the exhibits and learn more
about our range of products.
One of Coastal's strengths is the
wide range of products we can
supply. From casement windows
to conservatory roofs and from
residential and sliding patio doors
to vertical sliding windows."

Stuart says "We've had a very enjoyable day looking at the exhibits and meeting
the suppliers. I am particularly interested in the Salisbury window. It has a long list
of features, including co-extruded seals, five chambers, shape on both beads
and profile and a single leg knock in bead. It looks great and the single leg
knock in bead will be of great benefit on site.

Sarah Garland of 3-D Wyndows in Warwick was especially taken with the
vertical-sliding window. "It is such a great looking window and we are getting
more and more interest from people wanting to retain the character of their
homes whilst enjoying the benefits of PVC-U."

On the day there was lots to eat and drink and an artist drawing caricatures
of guests. Jeremy concludes, "Everybody had a good time; customers, suppliers
and ourselves. It was a rare opportunity for all of us to get together for a chat in
an informal atmosphere. I am sure everybody took something away with them.
