Spectus dominant throughout Eastern Europe

Spectus Europe, our international operation is a major player in a number of Eastern European Countries - including Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, Slovenia, and Croatia. The business also has customers in Greece.

Paul McLoughlin, Managing Director of Spectus Europe is based in the UK and divides his time between the UK and East Europe. The senior figures based in East Europe are Peter Bab CEO who is based in Slovakia and takes overall responsibility for the sales in East Europe.

Romania, Slovakia and Poland each have their own management structures and are legal entities complying with the appropriate requirements of each country. Serbia is managed through our agent warehouses in Romania and Poland acts as distribution nodes to serve the markets.

Manufacturing is centered in Wroclaw, southern Poland and the modern manufacturing facility is capable of extruding 10,000 tonnes of PVC-U per annum. The Dry blend is manufactured in the Macclesfield facility in the UK and shipped daily to ensure consistency and quality of supply.

This year has seen significant investment in a foiling line enabling quality and service to be improved and the product range increased to meet the needs of the customer base. In total the business employs approximately 100 personnel throughout Eastern Europe.
