Framefast, new build solutions from Spectus Window Systems

Framefast, the complete solution to New Build from Spectus:

Framefast is a combined window
aperture former, cavity closer
and DPC. Framefast speeds
installation, reduces costs and
brings factory-fit accuracy to site.

The Framefast system can be
used for all new build applications
including bay windows, entrance
doors and french doors.
The window former is placed
'in situ' and the brick an block
work built around.

The benefits are as follows;

The size of the aperture is
guaranteed so the windows
can be prefabricated - no need
to visit site to measure.

The Framefast closer
is positioned on the
base brickwork and
supported by a prop.
Framefast closes
the cavity providing
a DPC around the
perimeter of the
PVC-u window.

Using Framefast as
a template, the brick
and blockwork can
then be built-up to the
lintel height. The lintel
sits flush on top of the
closer, overlapping
onto the brick and
blockwork.

When the building
envelope is complete,
a pre-glazed window
is lifted in to the opening and located
with a simple snap-in
action, ensuring a
perfect factory fit
every time.
