DOOR REPLACEMENT WITHOUT A HITCH

Spectus door frames, supplied and fitted along with high security composite doors by
Cwnbran-based IG Doors, have been used during the refurbishment of 43 properties
owned and managed by Knightstone at the Creekmore Estate in Poole, Dorset.

IG Doors have been

timber frames to social
housing schemes for
many years. However,
there was always a
disparity between
the durability and low
maintenance benefits
of the doors and the
timber frame that
requires regular
painting.

Using the Spectus
profile, which is
specially developed
for use with composite
doors, allows IG Doors
to offer a total low
maintenance solution.

During the project,

team worked to

complete the replacement with minimal disruption to the tenants, with all 43 doors
and frames being replaced in just three days. Tenant feedback praised the fitters'
for their timekeeping, politeness and tidiness on site.
